Nick was a true visionary, a father of neuroendovascular surgery, a warrior who fought to realize this specialty, a ski buddy, a mentor, a gracious host to the best annual meeting in neurosurgery in his basement, an honest man, a family man, a man who lived to the fullest and battled to the fullest to hold onto his life. His spirit will live on for generations in the many trainees and friends who he molded and inspired….
