@SGoldbergVR @vendorprisey Learnability seemed to be a wonderful term for ensuring that what we want to have people learn is presented in a manner that supports a number of learning styles. I'd love to understand what the objections were because I was planning on borrowing your term (with attribution)
I was surprised by the map. At least the governor if CT has to ask. In North Carolina (apparently) the governor can hang on to emergency power for as long as HE chooses.
Nearly every other state in the Northeast has already ended their pandemic-related state of emergency. In CT today, Gov. Lamont wants lawmakers to extend his powers - for a fifth time. Enough is enough.
Appreciate your Project Managers and please remember to not treat them like admins. Anyone can schedule a meeting. Everyone should be taking notes. Their value is creating the right plan, cadence, workflow, & team dynamics for efficient execution.
I've been invited to speak on a panel about communication with Jason Kinder and Sara Sarah Schutte . I'm expecting it to be a very lively exchange of ideas with a lot of exchange of tacit knowledge about what works in real life.

UNCERTAINTY IS INEVITABLE.
SURPRISE ISN’T.
We can familiarize ourselves early with a wide variety of hypotheses, so that if confirmatory evidence for any of them starts to pile up, we don't need to spend time adjusting emotionally and shaking ourselves out of disbelief.
@andrewball01@galleman Noticed one of today's questions is risk management. I'm curious why more people don't factor in schedule risk from the beginning. Simply knowing that there are unknow elements surrounding how a piece of work will be accomplished seems like a good reason to estimate slippage.

@mikesimmons @tedbauer2003 Just made the same recommendation to a CEO yesterday. Crossing the culture barrier did come up as a concern.
My advice was do it anyway.
To make it through this deeply uncertain time, organizations must “learn from the future.” A truly insightful HBR piece by @PeterScoblic on the importance of building “permanent but flexible bridges” between action and strategy. https://t.co/9VM7ygCvjC
