@foliosociety@sampaints Awww. I didn't even get to see the announcement before they were gone. I have the regular edition from Folio which is also very beautiful but this one was rare and with an amazing clam box O_O
@SpindriftComic I just read the Patreon announcement. I loved following this comic and I'm sorry it will stop. But I wanted to try and encourage you to make an edition with what you have so far.
I would definitely love to own it. It would be an honor to have it on the shelf. ^__^
@nikhilgp I saw your post way back about the Count and Countess book. I would like to buy it but I can't find it anywhere. It's like it disappeared off the web. Do you still have your copy? I would really love to have it.
@riotgames I'm so sad :( My last game didn't finish in time and I had 199 tokens. What must one do to get an extra token? Interpretative dance? Draw a picture? Sing a song? :D
But since you're advertising the pass until this late, you should mention how long the missions take.

@trgaus @fornoschan Serious games have a problematic relationship with fun. It's because of the statements being made.
E.g.: Managing a child factory is fun. Ethically questionable decisions allow you to win the game. But losing is actually winning at ethics. Is fun good or bad in this case? Why?
@trgaus @fornoschan Is it a game or a simulation?
The serious tone will be, by design, intentional (to mimic reality).
HSE trainings are serious.There's nothing wrong with that.
But it's also important to think about creating an enjoyable experience. People learn better in positive settings.
@trgaus @fornoschan My point is that the seriousness needs to be a conscious design choice.
Serious games are not interchangeable with educational games.
As long as we are aware why we prefer a specific approach over the other and it is a well thought and conscious choice, it's all good.
@trgaus @fornoschan Indeed. ^_^ The serious tone can be used to create the right experience, illustrating themes like the hardships of war, the difficulty of starting a new business, child exploitation in underdeveloped countries, etc.
In our domain, HSE is usually approached with a serious tone.
