ME/CFS and Dysautonomia with Hypoxia. There isn't really more to say. Everything I used to do, I can't do anymore, because of these. They've taken my life away.
In today’s video interview with all of OMF’s directors, they discuss the connections between their research, and Dr. Meadows shares a visual representation of some of those connections. 🧩

This is true. It never ends. In summertime, I sometimes catch a break that lasts for a month, simply from barometric stability and other factors, where my symptoms are reduced. But I wonder the whole time where the future crash is lurking in wait to hit. Because I know it's there
@DiaryofaSickGrl I have decided that you are the whole reason I like X. If you weren't here, I wouldn't even log in. I could just follow you here and no one else. Just about everything you say is relatable for me. Thank you for all you post ❤️🩵🫂🥹
@ThePOTSPostman PS - no one tells me to push; I TELL OTHER PEOPLE, "I can do it!" because I want to & I'm willing to accept the crash, after certain things, such as visits with family. For days. The crash is worth it. I love the time, & if my energy envelope is expanded, I feel like "super me"😂
@ThePOTSPostman Does the hospital even know what to do with you? Even in my worst PEM crashes, I don't go, because I know they aren't educated about my conditions, and if the RESEARCHERS don't know how to stop it, how can the hospital staff? Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time...🫂🥺🙏🏻
Somebody said to me this week that "lucky people don't have to work." I'd much rather have to work than be at home feeling like this. It's no kind of vacation. It's horrible.
I LOVE cutting hair - put me back into that any day of the week over this...
There's nothing like feeling like you have the flu every day. You know that first day, when you have a scratchy throat and you progressively feel worse throughout the day? Your body is screaming that something is very wrong? That's me every day this week. It's miserable.
@DiaryofaSickGrl Without under-eye concealer, I look like the walking dead, these days... Only driving a scooter instead of walking... Zombie on wheels... 🤭
@DiaryofaSickGrl No. I've watched dishonest con artists get ahead in life, and all you have to do is look at politicians to see that karma does not exist. If karma existed, I would be living an entirely different life. So would you. So would everyone. Jesus makes sure we don't get what we deserve
Funny, but not true, lol. My circadian rhythm is broken. I need an alarm clock to keep it in check or it will push forward around the clock. This means strict sleep-wake times. Even if I sometimes wake early, and that sucks, I'm NEVER allowed to oversleep.

@aprettierpixie@DiaryofaSickGrl I've had to start using a pull organizer so I don't overdose. This is the only reason I know what day of the week it is, because it says so on the organizer...
@NixxyNoir@DiaryofaSickGrl This sort of thing happens to me all the time. My loved one will tell me something about his day or his life or his plans and the next day, or even maybe later that SAME day, I will have forgotten. I care; my brain just isn't getting enough oxygen to store the memories.
@AbigailJane1246@DiaryofaSickGrl Dementia has a set series of diagnostic criteria. It's not a catch-all diagnosis... That being said, I often joke that I have it because I forget everything. Lol
