My church, my family, my friends genuinely believed that a war in Iran would signal the apocalypse and usher in the final chapters of Revelation, setting the stage for the Rapture.
I have genuine love and respect for my religious and evangelical friends and family.
But for some, their views get into โdoomsday cultโ territory.
And that would just be a private matter of faith, except these people run the country. Military leaders are now saying this out loud as justification for the latest American conflict.
That should terrify you.
