🚨🚨 | The Champions League and European competitions are back TONIGHT.
And while the European nights return, they just won’t feel the same without these two giants.
Suicidal people deserve better than to be told the main reason they shouldn’t kill themselves is because of how it might affect others.
Suicidal people deserve love and help, not guilt trips.
Suicidal people deserve to feel like their life is worth living, worth fighting for.
Those guilt trips don’t help just put more added weight on that person,s shoulders.
DWP assessments have too often focused on ticking boxes instead of understanding disabled people’s actual lives.
Disabilities are complex.
We human beings cannot be reduced to a short assessment report.

We need a national database of what happens when people with mental health problems are discharged from secondary care. Because the missing data hides the re-referrals, worse mental health, admissions etc.
Some of us have medical conditions that make unnatural heat a nightmare.
Last night I was chucking my guts up and writhing on the couch with a violent migraine. I found it hard to breathe.
And then some c*nt comes along screaming 1976. Seriously just shut the fuck up lol.
Just a reminder, in trauma therapy we are supposed to be partially healed through contact with an ‘EMPATHETIC’ witness - not a contemptuous, dismissive one who tells us our personalities are disordered.

Tomorrow’s paper! This is utterly ridiculous! Every bloody day we get the same - Burnham today, Hunt tomorrow. Acting like they can slash the safety net that keeps us all safe willy nilly with invented jobs for suddenly cured conditions under the phantasy work is therapy.
@jaunty_aphorism@Shrink_at_Large I find it amazing that in peer spaces, we often never know the labels or the narrative and can easily sit with people in distress and just be kind and show up for each other. We don't need to be taught that. I don't know how psychiatrists lose that when they step into role

Your regular reminder that self-harm is:
- transdiagnostic
- not only found in young people
- doesn’t just take the form of cutting
- doesn’t mean one thing all the time for one person
- is something we feel unsafe to talk to you about
- can be temporarily life-saving
@DPAutomation@anonoccu1@Grraarrgh Some disabilities aren't visible, shows your spiteful side there. Cameron claimed for his profoundly disabled son, no one objected, so why are you making judgements on levels of disability and the work ethic? Clearly we have an issue with a spitefulosphere damaging society.
“Writing from bed is a time-honored disabled way of being an activist and a cultural worker. It’s one the mainstream doesn’t often acknowledge but whose lineage stretches from Frida Kahlo painting in bed to Grace Lee Boggs writing in her wheelchair age 98.”
