The November all-Network virtual meeting starts today at 2pm EST!
Join us and hear NoCTURN updates and talk all things tomography data
The meeting continues tomorrow morning!
Journals are an important part of our tomography data FAIR and Open Science improvement goals.
They are a ‘security check’ that can actually put minimums and best practices into the community.
It would be even better if the journal made an effort to educate authors about good #OpenScience practices, listing accepted archives like @ZENODO_ORG@datadryad@dataverseorg@figshare, and asking for DOIs to be reported in the paper…
What a week! Last week UTCT successfully hosted the 4th North American @ToScAConference symposium, with more than 110 delegates, as well as the first @NoCTURNetwork All-Network In-person meeting, with more than 60 attendees, right here in the Jackson School of Geosciences.
#NoCTURN2023 was an amazing time. Such great ideas, such great conversation. And even though we didn’t fix all the problems yet…the good news is we have 2 more years of bringing everyone together!
Keep up with the monthly meetings, and see you in 2024!
