The U.S. response to COVID-19 reflects "The Matrix" themes through the management of information, privacy intrusions via health surveillance, economic policies affecting individuals, a split between official stories and personal truths, and pushback against perceived authoritarian measures.
Christ left us a Church, not a Bible.
The foundational belief of Christianity is this:
Jesus ENDED the Old Covenant and established the New in His blood.
That’s not a side issue. That’s the very heart of the faith.
Jesus cried “It is finished!”
You’re calling the Savior a liar.
Stop.
A thorough study isn’t necessary this is very basic stuff. Jesus literally said: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel” (Matt 15:24). His mission came to the Jew first (Rom 1:16, 15:8).
He offered the kingdom to Israel first, was rejected by its leaders, then opened salvation to Gentiles while still saving a remnant of Israel (Rom 11).
The Old Covenant is fulfilled and obsolete (Heb 8:13). Now there’s only one way—Jew or Gentile: Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). God kept every promise perfectly.
@wesker_logan@Nata72_27@JosephGelman@WellsJorda89710 “First to the Jew, then to the Greek” refers to historical and missionary priority, not a separate saving covenant.
- Therefore, saying “biological Jews are still God’s chosen people” in a way that implies they are saved apart from Christ, is not a Christian teaching…
@IchadoF1357@churchtalkative “God is the author of salvation, not man.” There is none righteous, no, not one (Rom 3:10; Ps 14:3) Baptism is the door; living faith formed by charity is the path…
