@SpeakerJohnson You have a majority...in the House and the Senate. If you cannot get your party to act like adults (because they are all, in fact, children), you need to WIN the votes of Democrats. It is not our job to ensure your caucus's bills pass.
Democrats need to look HARD at the gains Trump made with young men (regardless of race and education). That cut the knees out from under us when it came to running up the vote in cities and college-county in the Blue Wall states.

Just…this is why all news media talking heads are broken. I’m a ride-or-die Democrat. Ive held my nose and voted for some particularly awful candidates. But I wouldn’t leave my house to vote for this ticket if the polling place was in my parking spot.
If Romney were their nominee, he could select another politician on the outs with the current GOP as his running mate. Maybe someone a bit younger. I’m thinking perhaps a Paul Ryan type. I’d give that ticket a strong look, tbh.

When issues get scientifically complicated and nuanced they fall back on their own erroneous heuristics. This is not their bag. They are unqualified for this job.

It’s *almost* like the composition of the Court should be a key voting issue for…ya know…people who care about democracy and law. But hey, I get it. A powerful woman had emails and an old man lacks energy. That should *totally* be JUST as important. 😑
