Thanks to @corteva, GTAN had the opportunity to attend the @NationalFFA's 96th National Convention and Expo! During our time in the Expo Hall, we had the honor of spending time with students and challenging them with games relating to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Throw back from AEE 412 with @FosterDanielD with this post. This is the encouragement that I need on a Monday morning this close to student teaching! #psuaged24#teachag
Thanks to @celia_graef for sharing about the value of PA State Parks and their value to agricultural education! (Shoutout to my #psuaged24 peers who keep me included while I visited Athens FFA for the day!). Also enjoyed making kestrel boxes in our AEE 350 class this week.
@seannageiger shared this morning in AEE 412 about her experience at @ShaversCreek Outdoor School. Love seeing the overlap between agricultural and environmental education, especially for younger learners! #psuaged24
Today in AEE 412, @seannageiger shared about her experiences working with @ShaversCreek Outdoor School. It is exciting to see the overlap between agricultural and environmental education, especially for younger learners! #psuaged24
This weeks #psuaged24 presenter was @NoahAgEd! Noah shared about his own experiences working on a PA dairy farm. Great example of the value of educators bringing real-life experiences into their classrooms!
Happy #NationalTeachAgDay! This is an exciting day for all of us in the profession. Today I am grateful for my #psuaged24 cohort - next year at this time, it’s our turn to be behind the desk!

Wednesday was #psuaged24's first laboratory experience where are had the opportunity to teach our peers for a selected ten minutes of our lesson. If you would like to watch my reflection, I have added it. Feel free to add advice!

Shout out to @paige_rohrbach for her Pechu Kucha! She explained wildlife programs and educational resources that our #psuaged2024 cohort can use to teach moving forward! It was great to listen, especially with her enthusiasm.
As I finish my participation in the #WFPFGOALs, I wanted to thank @ag_in_Bloom for your support and guidance last October at the World Food Prize. Thank you for helping me create and revise my lesson plans for this past March. My teaching experience went great!
Today was @BrandonBixler and I’s last day of the #WFPFGOALs Spring Immersion! I loved every minute of it and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of students. They finished their final SDG infographics and we spent some time reviewing them and reflecting on the week.
The past two days have been crazy!! After two great days of teaching, we attended Riverview Dairy yesterday. We also went to the Minnesota’s state Farm Bureau meeting today. At the restaurant we were at, Lake Minnewaska was right outside so we walked out on it!! #WFPFGOALs
Day 3 of the #WFPFGOALS Spring Immersion and it was well spent @btw_hou_agsci! A day filled with teaching, growth moments, smiling faces, and new connections. The days nightlights included: fist bumps from my students, hearing about my teacher voice, and getting to grade!!
#WFPFGOALs spring immersion started off a bit too snowy at West Central for @BrandonBixler and me. We had a two hour delay that restricted the time we got to teach, but it went great! Then we went out to dinner and coffee with @paige_rohrbach and @EmilyJay0108 to finish the day!
