@griptmedia Glass houses and all that. I’m not sure there are any parties in Ireland who can try and take any kind of moral high ground by attacking character of other candidates. It would serve us better if they discussed issues facing us and policy to address them.
@harris_wins From the outside looking in (someone who has worked with several U.S. companies). This would be a great thing for you. The standard of education is so poor. You are too big and diverse to have a centralised Dept. with so much control. You should add this to your agenda!
Normally local elections are “somewhat” separated from general sentiment, but I feel like this time could be different and FG, FF and Greens (greens in particular) are in for a thumping.
Britton’s father is actually an excellent local politician and I’m sure Britto will be too (I was able to chat with him at the door a few months ago).
But it is very interesting how so many local FG candidates are using the minimum possible #finegael branding… 👀
@griptmedia@Ben_Scallan This is some good FOI work. The amount of incorrect statements by government ministers in the lead up to the referendum is worrying. I can’t figure out if it was intentional lying or just incompetence… Likely a mixture of both 🤷🏻♂️
@MattWalshBlog I’ve had
1: My 1 y/o’s (sitting my lap) head hit and bruised by a reclining chair and
2: My laptop screen cracked by same.
On flights less that 3/4 hours I never recline. On longer flights, I’ll check behind me and ask the person if they mind me reclining. Simple manners.
@righttobikeit Even if you were cycling poorly (which you were not) his behaviour in a 1 ton vehicle is absolutely unacceptable. I get people have bad days, but getting angry like this risks lives. He is not emotionally mature enough for the responsibility of driving. I hope you are reporting!
@gavreilly I’ve looked at this a few times and still can’t get my head around it. Did we not always have the right to request anything from our employers, including working remotely arrangements?
Is this just legislation for the sake of legislation with no real world impact?
@seanferrick @TrekCulture@CloneStarPod I started watching Star Trek 35 years ago and I’m like a giddy child again with all the new shows. Loving every minute of it 🥳
That’s an absolutely disgusting move by the vendor. They could have found a single buyer from the start if that’s the path they wanted. Even local authorities would be interested.
The fact they felt fine treating people like that says a lot about them as a business and a person.
@chekthefuckov I rewatched DS9 during lockdown 1… This was the only episode I watched back straight away… I didn’t find it particularly “exciting” but the pain O’Brien felt, especially for the guilt/loss of e’char hit deep… I thought it was an excellent piece of writing!
@petergyang 12 years in product and this is the best list of “lessons”/truths I’ve seen… Particularly 4 & 6. Once I REALLY realised these, it felt like a different job. Much more fulfilling and less stressful.
Was not expecting to see a bottle of @jamesonwhiskey in the 25th century… Is the brand still going strong or was it a well preserved bottle? 🤔 #PicardSeason3
@MarianoJug@crazyhouseprice I don’t see any issue with Landlords making a profit, but the fact the market has got to the stage where rent is 3x a mortgage is hard to comprehend… I don’t blame landlords for that part 🫣
@righttobikeit I’d like to say I don’t think anyone can actually be that careless and have such a lack of awareness behind the wheel so it must be a troll, but I’ve seen some pretty crazy, idiotic driving so there’s a chance he actually is just this bad of a driver.
