@BlueCordCSM Back when Google Dorking was a thing I 'found' one of these drives publicly accessable on an Afghan IP address. I downloaded a lot of movies (very carefully I might add) before anyone noticed, he he.π
@esrtweet > no, who am I kidding, I *love* to tell ya: it's too late. It's far, far too late for you.
Below: ESR to Microsoft exec in 2000. [Revolution OS (2001)]
ESR still going strong on MS!π
@LundukeJournal This is completely insane. Not only will they never know but AI assisted/created software is now the new norm. It's not going to go away and it's only going to increase. I don't understand the AI rejection from so many technical people.
Luddites, the lot of 'em.
THIS IS HUGE!
This is the Health Secretary saying a NASA scientist, Navy SEALs and Green Berets came to him in Palm Beach during the transition and told him they were under orders to destroy UFOs, recover what was left, and that they had worked out how to call the ships. He did not wave it off. He said the briefings carried on once he was inside, and that a lot of what he has been shown is really, really crazy.
If that group exists, and if they really can call the craft in, the world is tuned in. Show the hand.
@NASA@SecKennedy
@bufbuild I can see I have a lot of work porting to v2 coming up.π₯²
Are there any plans to add an easy way to propagate data across services in v2? Currently i'm setting headers on a request then translating to the context in the remote svc, then translating to headers for requests, etc.
@dhh I think there is a genuinely good case for an LLM-native systems intermediate language.
It would not be designed it as a new general-purpose programming language. Instead, designed explicitly as a machine-oriented program construction IL whose primary author is an AI.
@dhh I think it can succeed but Hyprland is too much of a departure from what people recognise as a desktop.
If there was a choice between Hyprland and a desktop with a little more familiarity (Cosmic perhaps?) then success is assured.
Just my opinion though.π
@wangzhr4 Maybe adverts for Ubuntu Pro in the terminal? or the Snap store never updating correctly? or installing from Apt and Ubuntu secretly installing Snaps? or Adverts for Amazon in the menu? fml.
I got fucking sick of it and upgraded to Arch.
@OmarchyLinux is a breath of fresh air to the OSS world. At last, the spirit of open source software is alive, vibrant, creative and free once more. Unshackled from the politicised tech of legacy clown software. It makes OSS exciting and addictive again! Kudos @dhh
