The Miraculous Belt of the most holy Theotokos will be brought to Belgrade and displayed at the Church of the Ascension.

The belt was woven from camel hair by the Virgin Mary herself and later entrusted to the Apostle Thomas before her Dormition. The relic has been venerated for centuries as a source of comfort, peace, and strength for believers.

It is preserved at Vatopedi Monastery on Mount Athos, though historically it was also kept in Constantinople, where Empress Pulcheria adorned it with gold threads still visible on parts of the shrine today. The belt exists in several fragments, with major portions remaining at Vatopedi, while others were lost during the 13th-century Crusades.
