Pro-democracy activists wore blue shirts in solidarity with more than 10,000 political prisoners in Myanmar. Blue commemorates activist and journalist U Win Tin who wore his blue prison shirt after his release in 2008 until he died in solidarity with other prisoners.
Khant Thu Aung was brutally beaten inside Insein Prison for refusing to sit in stress positions, & banned from receiving food & medicine from his family. He is a student union leader & was sentenced to 3 years with hard labour on 31 March. Free All Political Prisoners!
