@chau_chris50674@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Christian, YouTube is a great resource. I love to use it to learn how to fix my car. I have enjoyed watching a lot of the teacher bloggers on there lately.
@Sav_CSUB @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Sav, I have used Zoom a lot as well. I loved how I could use it to not only do virtual lessons with the kids but also with parent meetings and presentations. I honestly think I had more parent participation during virtual learning.
@Sav_CSUB @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Sav, I really enjoyed FlipGrid too. It was a little intimidating at first but after that first video I’m really looking forward to using it in the classroom. I’m big on public speaking for all ages.
@Rg8895csub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Ricardo, I have yet to use Pear Deck. It sounds like an amazing tool. I can’t wait to check it out and hopefully use it in the classroom one day.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A2: The best tech from virtual instruction is a combination of Google Apps and iReady. These two apps have helped teachers organize work and help stunts to complete and submit their work. iReady has helped students to not only reinforce their learning but to increase their skills
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A3: Tech games such as Kahn Academy, ABC Mouse, etc. can be used by students and they help to reinforce what they are learning. Some sites like iReady Math, iReady Reading, and LEXIA help students improve their skills and they can go at their own pace. #csubEDTE4200#csubted
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A4: I have found the tech quest where I created a playlist of educational technology on YouTube was very eye opening. I did not realize how much technology has advanced since the pandemic and how it can really make an impact on your classroom. #csubEDTE4200
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A1: The best tech I have found useful so far is Google Sites. This is amazing and easy to use. I wish this was around when I was first in school, it would have made organizing my work and sharing ideas so much easier. #csubEDTE4200
