@LCarranzaCSUB@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi, Lisandro I also enjoy using Google Sites. Not many students use Google Sites compared to other tech resources, but it should be used more often among teachers and students.
@nurture_nae@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Janae,
I also felt camera shy and uncomfortable when recording myself only because I do not like hearing my own voice when recording. But other than that I believe Flipgrid has been great way to collaborate with the class.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A1: My favorite tool that we have used this course is Google sites. By creating a digital portfolio on google sites it has been a great way to keep my assignments organized. One tool we haven’t gone over in this course is GoGuardian.

@Jietongzhang@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Jietong, Google Docs and slides where a great tool that I used in some of my classes. It makes collaboration so easy, everyone can find all the information in one place.
@AlobatoRocha @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Alfredo, creating a website is definitely a skill many students would benefit from. As you mentioned at the end of the year the students can create a portfolio and look at their progress.
@LCarranzaCSUB@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Lisandro, I believe Google Drive is such a great tool. Students are able to share their slides and notes with other students. This is a such a convenience when working in teams that students should use more often.
@IsabelM_CSUB @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Isabel, I agree that Quizlet is a great tech source where students study for their exams. Plus they work on their diction.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A3: Google slide or PowerPoint are classroom tech tools that are used in student-led activities. Both outlets allow students to be creative and work with others. This allows students to work on their communication and critical thinking. @csubted#JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200
@FNegrete_CSUB@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted@MicrosoftFlip Hi Francisco, this year has been the first time I’ve encountered Flipgrid. So far its been a great way to interact with classmates during online courses. Being able to see someone’s face as well as personality through a screen.
@aj_CSUB@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Ashley, Zoom has played a huge role in virtual education. I agree that that sharing your screen has been very helpful. Another one of my favorite things about zoom is that zoom meetings can recorded and posted so you can always look back.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A2: Google Classroom has become popular in education in the past year. Google Classroom has been very efficient for students and educators. Teachers and students are able to communicate/collaborate with eachother. Grade and assign classwork. @CSUBTED#CsubEDTE4200@JMaddern_CSUB
@wyorkcsub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi William,
I’m also pursuing my SS credential in Mathematics! That’s awesome that you’ve been teaching for 3 years already! What has been one of you biggest challenges in teaching so far?
@j_moreno63 @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Jorge,
Did you enjoy working with little ones at the elementary schools ?
Im also wanting to be a math teacher for students grades 9th-12th.
