@Jietongzhang@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi, Jietong! Learning about Google Docs has been rewarding for me as well. I enjoy how easy it is to collaborate with others and that we can share Google docs with other Google users. I'm grateful to be learning about Google Docs as I foresee them showing up again in the future.
@am_csub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Adriana! I agree with your choice. Google forms can be used in many different ways and creating a Google Form is something we all should get familiar with as I foresee most of us having to create plenty more throughout our career as educators.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A4: Creating screenshots using the Snipping Tool has been the most rewarding for me this summer. This tool is amazing! I use it all the time now and I will continue to use it throughout my professional career. @csubted@JMaddern_CSUB#csub4200
@julia_csub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi, Julia! Pear Deck is a good one. I like how you explain that they can use Q&A, quizzes, and video during a presentation. What a great way to get the other students more involved and engaged!
@KenRudyCadiz@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hey, Kenneth! I'm old school and I love using PowerPoint. It's been around for a long time and I still enjoy using it today. I think its a great tool for students because its user friendly and it addresses all four of the academic languages when used for presenting.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A3: Prezi can be used as a student-led activity because it allows students to create interactive and exciting presentations. Reading, writing, speaking, and listening are all needed to create and present a Prezi presentation. @csubted@JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200
@IsabelM_CSUB @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi, Isabel! Twitter is a great tool for professional development and is an amazing research tool for students. Students with Twitter can type keywords in the search bar and will receive plenty of relevant websites and blogs. Very resourceful and easy to use.
@KenRudyCadiz@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hey, Kenneth! Google Classroom is awesome. I love how easy it is to use and how it connects with Google Docs. Teachers can share a Google Doc and students can collaborate on it. Super cool! π
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A2: Canvas has become increasingly popular in education especially during virtual instruction. Canvas allows students to view resources, access assignments and turn them in, take quizzes, message their teacher, check grades, and much more. @csubted@JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200
@j_moreno63 @JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi, Jorge! I'm glad you mentioned FLIP. I think FLIP is a great tool because it has allowed us to see who our classmates really are. I think it's a good thing it takes people out of their comfort zone and it's a great tool to help prepare us for teaching in front of a classroom.
@am_csub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi, Adriana! Nice choice! Remind is an awesome tool. I love how it allows you to basically send text messages straight to any phone though the app. The best part is that the app is designed to protect the safety and security of its users and their personal information.
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted A1: Edpuzzle is my favorite education technology resource so far because it's easy to use and it allows teachers to edit videos and add their own questions directly to the video stream. A tool we haven't covered is Zoom. Zoom is a great tool! @csubted@JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200
@nurture_nae@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hello, Janae! I'm also interested in teaching the older kids. I think it's awesome that you will have experience with mental health when you get hired on as a teacher. As a result, I think you're going to be a terrific teacher. Best of luck to you! π
@Bkellycsub@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Hi Brenden! You and I share the same interest. I have been teaching High School Math for the past 3 years and I love it! I'm sure we'll cross paths again in the future. Cheers!
@JMaddern_CSUB@csubted Introductions: Greetings everyone! My name is William and I'm currently pursuing my SS Credential in Math. I have been teaching Algebra the last 3 years for the KHSD and hope to get hired on permanently once I complete my credential. ππ @csubted@JMaddern_CSUB#csubEDTE4200
