@Hanamachi_Alt @puppyochaco I don’t think it was just one episode. Previous episodes have to be taken into account. He went on a trip with Aang, just the two of them and Aang comes back unharmed. Then the mission to the BR to free her father. Those two combined with TSR resulted in forgiveness.

@puppyochaco I realize that, I’m just saying at the time Ozai himself didn’t see the avatar as a threat because at that point the avatar was essentially a ghost, and that’s why it was the only way Zuko could ever go home, because Ozai didn’t want him home, he wanted him gone forever.
