@balkanfinalgirl Just block the really toxic ones. They aren’t worth it. Believe it or not there are people actually interested in having civil/nuanced discussions/debates in this fandom.
Guinnes World Record holder Jennifer Hale has done something remarkably difficult in voice acting: become instantly respected without ever being trapped by one signature voice. 🎙️
That range is why Hale’s influence runs so deep. She isn’t remembered because every character sounds like Jennifer Hale. She’s remembered because so many of them don’t.
Some of Jennifer Hale’s most popular roles include:
Commander Shepard (Mass Effect)
Bastila Shan (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic)
Jean Grey (X-Men)
Sam (Totally Spies!)
Cinderella (Disney)
Avatar Kyoshi (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
Ashe (Overwatch)
Rivet (Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart)
Bayonetta (Bayonetta 3)
Samus Aran (Metroid Prime)
Black Cat / Felicia Hardy (Spider-Man)
Ms. Keane (The Powerpuff Girls)
and many more!
Her career now spans more than three decades, and she holds the Guinness World Record as the most prolific female video game voice actor.
Jennifer Hale didn’t just contribute voices to major franchises. She became part of the foundation those worlds were built on.
When an entire generation can recognize your work across games, superheroes, animation, and Disney, that’s not just longevity. That’s legacy 💯
@puppyochaco I think if energy bending was not an option, Aang would have probably redirected the lighting at Ozai and went through with it. He did say “I know what I need to do” prior to getting energy bending.
@puppyochaco I know Zuko was pushing for it most but the rest of the Gaang seemed to be in the “kill Ozai” camp. Killing the most powerful firebender who was planning another genocide is not the same as sparing someone who is “sad pathetic and empty”. Cont..
@Hanamachi_Alt@puppyochaco I don’t think it was just one episode. Previous episodes have to be taken into account. He went on a trip with Aang, just the two of them and Aang comes back unharmed. Then the mission to the BR to free her father. Those two combined with TSR resulted in forgiveness.
@puppyochaco The show has a good way of telling us this when the earth kingdom villager says “liar! Your no prince your an outcast! His own father burned and disowned him.”
@puppyochaco I realize that, I’m just saying at the time Ozai himself didn’t see the avatar as a threat because at that point the avatar was essentially a ghost, and that’s why it was the only way Zuko could ever go home, because Ozai didn’t want him home, he wanted him gone forever.
@puppyochaco When Zuko was banished I don’t think the FN saw the avatar as a threat anymore. He hadn’t been seen in over 100 years at that point. If the FN still saw him as a threat they would have had others trying to track the avatar down. Cont..
