Join us in congratulating FF Dante Brindisi on passing both his Paramedic program and the National certification exam. He is now ready to serve our community. Great Job Dante!!!
Everyone owns lithium-ion (rechargeable) battery-powered devices. While mostly safe, correct use is vital. ** Important: ONLY USE batteries that are certified by UL, IEC, CE or UN. Most battery fires occur as a result of poorly made aftermarket batteries sold online **
June 6, 1944; If not for the bravery/sacrifice of so many in the largest military operation ever, our world would look a lot different. Always thankful for those who landed on the beaches and parachuted behind enemy lines that day. #freedom#LoveOfCountry#standingupforwhatsright
NFD had the privilege of attending ARHS' career symposium to speak on careers in fire and EMS. Great opportunity to influence the next generation. #bestjobintheworld#firefighter#paramedic#publicservice

Open-Air Burning Season ends this Wednesday at 4:00 pm. No burning will be authorized after noon on Wednesday until next season, 01/15/2026*
*Agricultural burn permits are exempt, may burn year-round; must request permission each day & follow all open burning laws/regulations
We are excited to announce that we have been awarded both the SAFE & Senior SAFE grants from the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services. These funds are dedicated to our mission of providing fire safety, outreach & prevention education for school-aged children and seniors
Residents & Agriculturals who have obtained a permit should consider burning soon while there is still snow on the ground. Our area is still under critical drought conditions which could result in several 'no burning' days or possibly a statewide ban on open burning
The application period for 9 positions is OPEN, with preference given to applications received by 5pm on December 20, 2024. Come Join the Future of the Northborough Fire Department.
Thank you is simply not enough to express how appreciative we are of our community's support & overwhelming approval of ballot question 6 to building your new fire station. We look forward to construction and sharing our new home with the community we serve for decades to come.
Once again we are at a high class 4 fire danger day. The little precipitation we received overnight did not have a great impact on the danger level. Here is a great link for you to use to track the current fire weather conditions.
