Started a new job last month as an Archeology Field Tech. This week we're working on a stage 3 site that might be where an old farmhouse once stood, and it looks like it's dated to the late 1800's but records are spotty.
@df9465@FossilLocator Cancel culture just hides the past, which in my opinion can do more harm. Acknowledge that Audubon was wrong in the past and try to make reparations in some way, instead of just avoiding things with a name change.
I wanted to wait until after I was finished my degree to get my Tattoo, but made the appointment before I extended.... oh well. Now I HAVE to graduate I suppose.

@JulianPalaeoART When I extend my arm it distorts by almost exactly 1.1 cm, but honestly even then, 11 mm divided across 15 cm is an acceptable margin of error for me. And, as long as I keep my arm at a 90 degree angle, it's surprisingly accurate.
