@keemonade Wtf do you retards do in these overrated games to justify playing them for years? Its a mediocre thirdperson shooter glued to a mediocre racing game with a empty open world and strict on rails scripted mission design.
@brown_brye81302@JumpyFeller Halo CE was not designed with sprint in mind. So that leaves us with 2 scenarios. Either sprint was a useless addition, or they resigned the whole game to account for it, which would make it the INTENDED way to play and make playing without it a worse experience.
@brown_brye81302@JumpyFeller My point is obvious. Games are designed with INTENTION just the same as books or movies. Mario expects that player to move and jump because it was designed that way. Your point about RPGs is actually fair, but it's because that's the intended deaign of the genre.
@brown_brye81302@JumpyFeller You could read a book starting from page 100 and working your way back to page 1. You could watch a movie on mute with no subtitles. But you wouldn't do that because obviously that's not the intended experience. This same thing applies to games.
Genuinely something so many big AAA games struggle with is readability
Things like yellow tape, waymarks, etc. are a symptom of just game worlds that are harder and harder to parse what's important because there's just so much stuff in it
