@UselessControl @GWRHelp@networkrail The general population have grew restless of situations like this. Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do to change that, other than improve the response that is offered when the railway falls down. The trains have been there for 3 hours now without assistance, that ain't on.
The situation currently ongoing on the Elizabeth Line & @GWRHelp proves that the UK has a serious problem with the amount of time it takes to assist / rescue / evacuate stranded trains. You just end up losing control of the situation and passengers will put themselves in danger.
@UselessControl @GWRHelp@networkrail It's too early to tell if it was an infrastructure fault or a defect with the pantograph. Regardless, these situations do occur but the reaction to them is appalling.
@steeeeeve940@theashrb This is an overhead wire problem. The signalling was actually working today surprisingly.
The wires have come down on top of a train and automatically turned off. So there's no trains running and no power to the wires.
@theashrb The UK has a serious problem with rescuing or evacuating stranded trains. It takes far too long and eventually passengers will self evacuate, which is fair enough really.
@Scott_7Numbers@bkkray @killergiraffe99 @Haggis_UK In the last 20 years, there has only ever been a max of 3 trains per hour between London and Manchester.
@grantshapps How long until a train details or crashes all because agency staff with no training were drafted in to do a safety critical job? Undermining people's right to be apart of a union and strike is seriously grim.
@TR9_gaming @NetworkRailWssx@GWRHelp@SW_Help Do not speculate with things like this. Also do not share false, misleading, private or unconfirmed information.
