Norton Mounds located 4 miles south of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Today, 11 of an original 32 mounds (17 in this area and 15 adjacent) remain at the site. It is in the Millennium Park area but closed to the public. They are Hopewell Culture mounds dated to 500 B.C. - A.D. 500. The pottery shown was excavated from the mounds there.
