living near a research university means i'll constantly see flyers that say things like "do you deal with depression by drinking alcohol and jacking it crazy style? participate in our research study for a $100 crumbl gift card!"
@krystalball This is everything they accuse the left of being. Deeply ideological and theoretical, makes bold claims, with no details of how they would "lower costs and expand opportunity." Meanwhile, the left is making specific and achievable demands.
@ryangrim@jasonvpoulos@RepAuchincloss My question is how he hasn't gotten a primary challenger sooner. He only won in the first place because of progressive vote splitting
@DanielDenvir I hear this a lot from centrists, which is useful imo. They seem to think that progressiveness has nothing to do with policy, which the left can exploit, I think.
@offbeatorbit For me, I feel like there are others who would be viable left presidential candidates, but fewer people who are viable challengers to Schumer.
@georgegriffiths The point of this post is for everyone to vigorously debate their 4. Anyway, mine are, in order:
1. Run Away With Me
2. The Loneliest TIme
3. No Drug Like Me
4. Too Much
It's kind of sad how Daniel Radcliffe has turned into a really great actor with a weird and idiosyncratic taste in projects, and interviewers only ask him boring questions about when he was a preteen.
Daniel Radcliffe says every Harry Potter cast member had to wait for book drops except Alan Rickman
"you had to wait till drop day as well... I remember in The Devil Wears Prada there’s a subplot where she has to find a version of Harry Potter before it comes out, and we all saw that and were like, good luck"
"I think Alan Rickman was the only person from the cast who was told anything in advance, and certainly no, we didn’t get anything"
