Fort Hood Family Housing just doing what it does. Left this family here after their ceiling caved in. Probably contains asbestos given the age of the home and is 18 outside. But they deserve to keep their contract. @iiicorps_cg please do something about this.
When the environmental manager for FHFH looks at a mother who is in tears with sick children and tells her they have no reason to test for mold, you know things have not and will not change here @forthood. #wedeservebetter
A lot of you have been interested in our ongoing coverage about the dangerous conditions in military housing and what's being done about it. Here's the latest on what's in the NDAA to help the families living in these homes: https://t.co/1srJWwS1M3 @wusa9
At 11: ‘We think we’re going to get this fixed’ Congress continues to address concerns military families brought to @wusa9. They're hoping to protect military fams from dangers inside their homes, including mold, lead paint & rodents, & address the health impacts of living there.
In fall 2018, as the Army set up @armyfutures, it gave one of its private housing partners $8.5M in profit from Ft Hood base housing to buy Austin homes for the 3 top leaders of the unit. $1.29M went to property for a parking lot at the commander's house.

To military spouses who do or have lived in #militaryhousing & have experienced a miscarriage or stillborn birth, my prayers are with you. Chronic exposure to undisclosed contamination at US bases can cause or contribute to adverse birth outcomes. https://t.co/tdC16gvyEN
#Congress and #DoD promised #MHPI would provide SAFE homes for #militaryfamilies at US bases. Instead, it produced #militaryhousing on TOXIC DUMPS! Military families serve & sacrifice to protect US, but no one protects health or safety of military families living on US bases.
“It is said home is where your story begins”, and when you live in a Micheals managed property. That’s correct, the lack of maintenance and zero care begins at Micheals. Tell your story. @VillagesBelvoir@ClarkRealty @SenMcSallyAZ @MarkWarner
Throwing out furniture and things. Just wanna make sure no one takes these and contaminates their homes. After a friend came to help and had an asthma attack within 3 minutes we stopped. Someone else is gonna have to come finish the rest. #WelcomeToTheGreatPlace
@VillagesBelvoir employs the same person who was there during the fruad findings of 2012/13. Maybe we need to investigate where the mess really comes from ?
