Wikipedia fuels propaganda against Hindu American Foundation: How anonymous writers demonise Hindu rights group?

One Sikh man committed a murder.
535,000 British Sikhs did not.
They served in our armies.
They built our cities. They fed our homeless.
They sheltered our children after Manchester.
Know your allies. Don’t let hatred win.

One question we've heard since @npovmedia investigation into the defacing and distortion of HAF's @Wikipedia page is: "Why don't you just go in and edit the page?"
If only it were that simple. Wikipedia doesn't work the way most people think it does. The NPOV investigation revealed that a small group of anonymous editors exercised extraordinary influence over HAF's page for years, repeatedly pushing content and narratives that rendered the organization increasingly unrecognizable from who we actually are.
What many assumed were isolated edits turned out to be something far more persistent: a years-long pattern of distortion. This was never about just our Wikipedia page. It was about how narratives are constructed, who gets to construct them, and what happens when a few anonymous actors are allowed to influence an organization's public identity for years.

It. Is. Done!
No caste bill in New York that would have singled out & targeted Hindu, Indian & South Asian New Yorkers!
Legislators in 6 states have tried to institutionalize discrimination against our communities—all of these attempts have failed.
Why?
Because the US Constitution is clear: equal protection for all.
Many are asking how we convinced New York lawmakers that addition of
"caste" as a separate protected class runs afoul of equal protection and due process concerns while risking the institutionalizing of inaccurate, racial science theories about people of Indian origin and descent.
Well we shared mine and Samir Kalra’s law review article with all legislators. The committee chair legal counsels understood the constitutional issues immediately.
No need for a circus or accosting lawmakers in the halls as caste law proponents did. We came with receipts.

Ayesha was 6 when the pedophile (pbuh) ‘married’ her after imprisoning her parents.
Ayesha was 9 when the pedophile(pbuh) r*ped her when she was playing with her dolls.
A man can take 5 wives and leave them on a whim with nothing more than a pronouncement of ‘divorce’
A man can take as many women as he can as ‘sexual slaves’
What a feminist religion that respects women.

PRESS STATEMENT | Big win in New York!
Constitutionally flawed New York caste bills fail. This reflects 5 years of sustained HAF-led legal, educational, and grassroots advocacy with coalition partners across states. New York marks the sixth state that has introduced legislation to add caste as a standalone category, but with HAF’s education and outreach, none of these bills have passed.

BAPS should have been the moment a lot of Hindus woke up.
Think about it. For years we were told this temple was proof of trafficking, forced labor, exploitation, everything. Federal raids. International headlines. Activists treating the case like it was already solved before the investigation had even finished.
Then the DOJ closed the case without finding evidence of trafficking or forced labor. That should have ended the story. Instead, it simply changed to continious media vilification.
And honestly, if you've been paying attention, you've seen this movie before. @Cisco case was supposed to prove caste was thriving inside Silicon Valley. Prosecution found no proof.
Anti-caste campaigns were supposed to prove Hindu professionals carried oppression wherever they went. Again, NO PROOF!
Funny how the target keeps changing but the conclusion never does.
A Hindu engineer. A Hindu temple. A Hindu organization. Doesn't matter.

“Over four years (2021-2025), [@Wikipedia] editors systematically erased HAF’s identity as an American civil rights group, transforming its Wikipedia page into a heavily curated dossier of accusations.”
PRESS STATEMENT | A new investigative report by @NPOVMedia raises serious questions about how HAF's Wikipedia page was manipulated and vandalized.
Wikipedia is supposed to be a trusted public resource. Instead, it appears to have been weaponized against HAF.

Oh look they found a fat little gremlin begging for g*y sex at truck stops to blame Indian people. Jerome, Indian people are settlers, much like the pilgrims, not immigrants. We intend to settle here and improve this country for everyone. Every statistic that matters tells this story. Cry harder.
For years, major institutions have framed India and Hindus through the lens of nationalism, extremism, and suspicion. But what we've uncovered on @Wikipedia raises a deeper question: who gets to write the public record?
Our investigation found that a small cluster of anonymous editors controlled more than 80% of the @HinduAmerican page. Among the findings:
Blatant Conflict of Interest: The editors aggressively shaping HAF’s page were the exact same people controlling the Wikipedia profiles of HAF's legal adversaries and academic critics.
Inserting False FARA Allegations: Editors laundered complaints from HAF's opponents into "facts," using demands for a DOJ investigation to falsely brand HAF as a foreign agent
Administrative Silencing: An admin with supreme platform permissions deleted quotes from HAF's leadership, stripping the organization of its right to reply to allegations.
Over four years (2021-2025), editors systematically erased HAF’s identity as an American civil rights group, transforming its Wikipedia page into a heavily curated dossier of accusations. Our report from @npovmedia documents how it happened. 👇
