Utilization of #AI based tools for delineating cardiac structures with ICE during #AblateVT cases as part of #FIH trials with new @AbbottCardio exceeded expectations - rapid definition of valves, paps in LV:
That feeling of a one-burn ❤️🔥 termination during bigeminal LV summit PVC ablation! Although this time it took 11 long seconds for the PVC to suppress with RF just below the LCC. Does that mean the focus was just deep or were we not exactly on the right spot? #EPeeps#GridX
Day 1 at #HRS2025 off to a great start with our annual the EP Fellows program. Always one of my favorite examples of clinical collaboration, featuring hands-on learning btwn our mappers and future EP leaders.
Next session at 2pm next to Rhythm Theater 2.
Enjoyed assisting with some workflow and technology improvements in FIH trials of novel Viewflex X ICE catheter from @AbbottCardio -- we performed ablation of PVC from suspected intramural site with RF to septal RVOT and adjacent ASOV. Will be curious to see what @dhakalbish thinks with his @PennEPFellows based ICE approach in trials tomorrow. Contouring of key structures including pap muscles and ASOV shown below:

Monday started with First-in-Human Use of “ViewFlex X SE” ICE Catheter with @AbbottCardio
I've always loved using the ViewFlex ICE for its exceptional image quality, but now with seamless ICE integration into Ensite X, this is a total game-changer that enhances precision like never before.
Some features that stood out to me
🔹 ICE Integration with Grid and FAM Mapping - Real-time visualization that aligns perfectly with 3D GridX and FAM maps. This precision ensures more efficient targeting of critical anatomy, improving procedural accuracy.
🔹 Smooth Transition to the Left Atrium
Despite its softer shaft, the ViewFlex X SE provided excellent maneuverability and control, allowing smooth navigation to the left atrium while maintaining consistent imaging quality.
🔹 Maintaining Outstanding Image Quality
For those of us who’ve always trusted the ViewFlex ICE platform for its superior imaging, this new catheter doesn’t disappoint—it adds seamless integration without compromising clarity.

Premature His Bundle Complexes distinguished AVRT and AVNRT with 100% Specificity and Sensitivity irrespective of location.
A simple & intuitive maneuver.
PHC delivered 42 msec ahead of HIS, perturbed A1-A2 by 15 msec = AVNRT.

Prior to start of the case we predicted critical isthmus to be originating from anterior scar in LA based on morphological similarities w/ NCC AT.
ICE nicely shows relationship between flutter term and cusps

Patient Hx
3 yrs post Cryo PVI & CTI.
3 months post PFA of posterior wall.
Presented in 340 ms tachycardia. #HDGrid showed scarring with slow conduction through left atrial roof and floor.
Termination at isthmus, confirmed with entrainment, with #TactiFlex.

Atrial Flutter with suspected shared neighboring trigger, a nonsustained intra-CTI centrifugally activated AT.
P-wave morphology consistent with Tricuspid Annular Focal AT described by @peterkistler3 et al @JACCJournals

My PVC summer continues! 120 ms QRS PVC suspicious for fascicular origin near PM pap. 2 targeted exits and 2 morphology changes later finally got it-mapped earliest Purkinje 30 ms pre at the septal insertion of a LV false tendon. Great mapping @forkknifecab_EP#EPeeps
Prior cryo and CTI line for this patient, returned in atypical flutter. Fractionation and slowing on both the roof and mitral annulus, collision on CTI. Where to burn first? #PMA
Remote mitral valve repair. Presented with alternating mitral and roof flutters confirmed by entrainment. Anterior wall scarred so opted for anterior mitral line. Nice termination shot of the mitral flutter. Excellent mapping @LydTrautEP@georgecrowell#EPeeps
