An inspiring evening at Reach for the Stars celebrating the incredible work of @ReachSocietyBC.
It has been my honour to serve as council liaison for this incredible organization for the last four years.
For decades, Reach has supported children and families across Delta, helping young people thrive and ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible: the staff, volunteers, donors, families, and community members who continue to show the very best of Delta. ⭐
Veteran Councillor Sylvia Bishop is coming back to run with One Delta.
🗣️ “I saw the One Delta councillors consistently stand up for transparency and accountability, even when it was difficult. I knew this was the team I wanted to join.”

A great city is not just where you live. It’s where you want to be.
We are making Delta a place people choose to spend their time. That means more festivals. More patios. More local breweries. More life.
You should not have to leave Delta to enjoy a great night out.
@VoteOneDelta
One Delta is proud to have three incumbent trustees running with our team
Ammen Dhillon, Masako Gooch, and Val Windsor will strengthen alignment with community priorities from safe streets and maintained parks to inclusive public spaces and the ongoing improvement of our schools
Fixing roads, parks, and facilities is the foundation of good local government.
Local government should focus on delivering real results on the things that affect your everyday life. That’s exactly what we will do.

Honoured to attend the Ignite Women’s Empowerment Gala hosted by the Times of Canada. An inspiring evening celebrating leadership, resilience, and the incredible contributions women make in our communities every day.
We all have a role in stopping bullying. Today’s Battle of the Badges hockey game brought nearly 2,000 Delta students together to stand for kindness, respect, and inclusion on Pink Shirt Day. Delta showed what taking a stand looks like. #PinkShirtDay
Will the Massey Tunnel replacement ever get built?
As commuters continue to sit in traffic, a third of Deas Island Park has been cut off and thousands of trees are scheduled for removal for so-called “pre-construction” work.
The problem? There’s still NO environmental assessment certificate for this project, which means full construction legally cannot begin.
And after all this disruption, there has been no increase to the construction budget in five years. No clear path to approval. And growing concerns about whether this project is even viable.
It didn’t have to be this way…
Delta receives $14.2 million through the Housing Accelerator Fund 🥳!
A huge thank you to the Federal Government and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation for this vital investment, which will help facilitate much needed housing in our community 🏠.
Thanks to Councillor @JenniferJohal’s motion, new bus stop shelters are being installed this week in Delta’s industrial areas. This investment supports workers and helps businesses continue to grow in our city. #BacktoBasics
As a farming town, agriculture makes up half of Delta’s land base. Our Council was pleased to meet with Minister @Pam_Alexis_ to discuss important issues for Delta, including the need for upgrades to our local irrigation water conveyance system to support local farming.
