Patients are being contacted by the NHS to check their address.
If the patient doesn't respond within 30 days the GP practice then has 3 months to respond or else the patient will be de-registered with the practice (aged 18+).

This could delay care and treatment for patients.

This week we'll have World Suicide Prevention Day (10th) and the month is for awareness.

Our CEO @Wrighto74 was a volunteer and then trainer at Nottingham Samaritans starting in 2010 and as an organisation it is a reminder to check on a colleague/friend/family etc. @samaritans

We know that many patients are upset because they think that they have been removed from their Doctor's Surgery. If this affects you and you're still living within the practice boundary please go back to the surgery, you can stay. The NHS run 'list cleansing' exercises.

General Practice in Nottinghamshire delivered over 8.1 million appointments in 2025 serving a population of almost 1.29 million delivered by 126 practices.
GPs aren't lazy or slow, they work flat out with their teams to do the impossible-with less than 10% of the NHS budget.

@RobSissons1 It's interesting to see where this goes. For patients who were paying multinational corporations to provide GP care it's a sobering reminder that local GPs with knowledge of local referral and prescribing guidelines are much more helpful.
