The internet moves fast.
But real work doesn’t compete with speed. It interrupts it.
I learned that in the middle of a scroll I wasn’t really paying attention to.
A bird stopped me.
Not metaphorically. Literally.
One Beak crossed my feed and everything else went quiet behind it.
That’s how I found @thebeaksart.
At first it looked like noise in a crowded timeline. Just another drop, another project, something to glance at and move past.
But I didn’t move past it. I opened it.
Then I stayed longer than I intended, and I started looking for who made it.
That’s when everything shifted.
This led me to @DKashtalyan, an artist with over twenty years of pointillism, surrealism, murals, and obsessive dotwork built entirely by hand.
Not for attention or timing, but repetition, discipline, and time. Every piece begins the same way: one dot at a time until something alive emerges on the canvas.
Work shown at Art Rotterdam, Art Taipei, The New York Times, and the Royal Watercolour Society at Bankside Gallery.
Only then did the Beak I first saw begin to make sense.
Bold colors. A stare that holds its ground. A presence that feels like it existed long before I noticed it.
That became The Beaks, his first onchain collection, 1,111 hand drawn surreal birds, each carrying the same language of patience, precision, and accumulation, now translated into web3.
The Beaks aren’t drawn. They’re accumulated.
Built slowly, dot by dot, decision by decision, until form stops being form and becomes identity.
And what makes it even more important is this: it’s not just another drop. It’s his first step onchain, carrying two decades of practice into a new medium without losing anything that made the work matter in the first place.
Some art doesn’t arrive. It reveals itself.
And that is where this stopped being a drop in my feed and became something else entirely.
Not reinvention. Continuation.
A traditional artist stepping into a new medium, web3, without losing a single year of what made the work matter in the first place.
That’s what I saw in that first Beak.
And that’s why I didn’t scroll past it.

@samsrepx LOL, DJT is wild right now. I've been looking for ways to get some exposure to US stocks like this from overseas, and @10xtradingapp actually lets me trade them easily. Crazy how much leverage you can get on there too.
@Young_Buffboy lol, gotta find the silver linings where you can. Makes me think about how I'm able to get exposure to things like US stocks on @10xtradingapp even from overseas, which is huge.
Digital pack ripping has felt utterly different for years
@TiltRips adding real physical cards, instant cashout, and direct shipping makes this feel way more authentic than anything else I’ve tried.
This might be the first digital pack ripping experience that actually feels built for collectors instead of just extracting from them
I would be ripping some packs let's see what I pull.
