Two very different reward shapes in one game: high-variance (Throne) vs. cumulative leaderboard (Shards). Worth picking your strategy based on how you actually play.

[Noursiiiiz @Noursiiiiz]

The Shard Leaderboard is the other side of the Axie: DoM event economy — a flat leaderboard payout, not a per-run gamble. Quick look at how it pays. 🧵

$5,000 total, split between the top 100 Shard collectors: $2,500 in USDC, $2,500 in AXS.

Unlike the Throne, this isn't a single-run roll — it's cumulative. Consistent, lower-Key runs over time can still land a top-100 spot.

A quick breakdown of the highest-variance play in Axie: DoM right now: the Throne.

Every Full Clear (beat Kilnbane, finish run) triggers a roll on a progressive pool. Win it and you take 80% of the pool instantly, plus a soulbound skin — Stella — with no other way to obtain it.

[Noursiiiiz @Noursiiiiz]

If you're optimizing specifically for the Throne, more Keys in one run beats spreading the same Keys across several. Worth knowing before you buy in.

One catch: leave a run open past the Thursday 4PM UTC reset and it auto-finalizes without the Throne roll. Timing your Full Clear matters as much as your Key count.
