@NurseStandard I am a nurse and I would never dream of accessing medical records of anyone who I wasn't directly responsible for. It's against our code of conduct and trust policies and very unprofessional. They should be sacked. There is no excuse.

@MedRegoncall1 To be fair a GP diagnosed my 13 year grandson with prickly heat when he had a petechial rash caused by an adult dose of clopidogrel and aspirin following cardiac valve surgery so drs don't always get it right either.

@Cleverclog67596 I work as a staff nurse in stroke. I have seen some amazing Fy1 Drs over the years. The problem is inadequate senior supervision especially at weekends. They are thrown in the deep end and expected to diagnose complex medical issues with limited experience.

@DrEilidhMaria I am a nurse in stroke, we have junior Drs on their first rotation working with minimal senior supervision who are completely out of their depth. If I left a student nurse unsupervised I would be held to account. While I acknowledge it is a different scenario. It still isn't Ok

@AC_Revolution @Sumsworld01 @marcuschown They actually are. I work on a stroke ward where staff regularly purchase toiletries for patients who don't have any. Those items are bought using staff's own money.

@JaneyGodley We didn't break the rules. I am an NHS nurse I went everyday wore full ppe and came straight home afterwards. My pregnant daughter went to every appointment alone with her first baby. They should hang their heads in shame.

@clairebubblepop I think you make your point very well. Don't put yourself down. I am an NHS nurse and like your daughter saw first hand what Covid did everyday. So many people died and were buried alone while our government made a mockery of the rules they created. Keep making a stand.

@paused123 @EmergMedDr Actually I am a stroke nurse in the North West and very junior doctors are often on wards with very little senior support. They are making decisions that are potentially life or death for £14 an hour
