@Simberg_Space I love Japanese trains, but long distance trains are a poor fit for the US. The US is in a position where it needs to be formidable and unfuckwithable. You can drop 1,000 bombs on a road and SUVs can still drive around it. You drop a single bomb on a track, millions are stranded.
