I like Dr. K, but as an FSSPer, he's a bit unwilling to admit the reality that the Vatican views his parish, and all "canonical" TLMs, as a temporary concession for those "attached to the antecedent liturgical form."

Leo's end-goal is to transition him and everyone like him to the Novus Ordo. Far from taking a "softer" stance, Leo's attempt to excommunicate 700K laity is evidence that he's perhaps even more anti-TLM than Francis.
