@phildefo@SecScottBessent@fundstrat First thing, intellect and intelligence are not the same thing. And I’m just a regular guy who doesn’t believe what he’s told and sees things for what they are. But I’m sure you believe everything Fox News tells you. Go back to name calling like your corrupt president.
@realTrevorC@TheShortBear Agree completely. And I don’t think it should be allowed. How many times do have to watch this happen and it’s broader systemic consequences that hurt so many ppl. Bill Hwang, 3 Arrows capital, etc….
@realTrevorC@TheShortBear We do when the powers over that market manipulate it, ex Citadel.
Oh but I forgot, we “need” corruption from citadel for supposed liquidity.
@ConnorJBates_ The headline should read, Citadel manipulates market and rewarded for its corruption.
The market is an unregulated casino, as long as you donate to the right party, Trump will protect you. Just like all those crypto pardons, ex CZ!
This type of manipulation by Citadel should be illegal. Not defending Leopold's risk management by any means, but Citadel intentionally put out a bearish note on a surprise rate hike on Tuesday, bought out Leopold's positions at rock bottom on Wednesday, and now is participating in wild returns on Thursday.
This is disruptive for the broader market, not to mention sleazy and gross.
@amitisinvesting This endless market manipulation that enriches the corrupt needs to stop. Where are the regulators, where are the investigations? I’m sure his Republican donations and Trump will protect Ken Griffin, again.
@altcap Serious Q, How can anyone expect today’s youth to get interested in the casino that the market has turned into? A place where manipulation and leverage destroys many and enriches the corrupt? (Think Citadel)
@SenWarren I am an NC independent & would vote Dem if you could regulate the casino that we call Wall Street. Another ex today of Citadel & it’s corruption, manipulating the mkt to force a hedge fund to blow up just to steal it. the endless leverage destroying ppl. Where is the regulation?
