🚢 Hormuz remains constrained
The Strait of Hormuz closed on February 28. 12 weeks later, almost no LNG cargoes are moving through it.

🇪🇺 Europe is underfilled
Europe entered summer with gas storage at 35%.
The November target is 90%.

🔥 TTF risk is back
Equinor warned that if Hormuz stays constrained for another 1–3 months, Dutch TTF prices could reach €90/MWh above the 2022 energy crisis peak.

🇺🇸 US LNG is stepping in
US LNG exports just hit a record near 20 bcf/d.
The US is now the world’s largest LNG exporter, and Europe is taking the bulk of the volume.

🚨The structural shift is massive:

Russian pipeline gas to Europe: 165 → 20 bcm
US LNG to Europe: 5 → 81 bcm
EU-US energy commitment, on paper: $750B through 2028

Europe doesn’t have a real choice.

It needs American LNG, and it will pay whatever the spot market demands.
