The Department of Health insists it paid £600m to an interior design company for PPE. The money is nowhere to be seen in the firm’s accounts. They won’t answer the Eye’s questions. So where’s the money gone? Full story in the brand new Private Eye, out today.
My high-school biology teacher told me I was stupid and would never amount to anything. Motivation enough for me to get two degrees. One if which is a BSc with distinction in Adult Nursing.
When I was 15, a teacher told me that “people like you don’t become authors,” because I grew up on a council estate. This year, I sold my two millionth book. #NeverGiveUp#WritingCommunity#books
@abi_carey@jjjenny_ch@dgurdasani1 We wear ffp3 during agp. Ive been fit tested 3 times in 2 years. If they don't fit, you might aswell wear wear surgical mask.
@abi_carey They are useless if they leak and really should be fit tested. OK they are better than standard surgical masks but useless if they don't fit properly. There are many types and not all 'fit', everyone.
@mountgirl77 @NursingNotesUK Student nurses are used far too often to prop up the dangerously loe staffing levels or as quasi nursing auxiliaries. It is not good for anyone and leads to early burn out.
@UoDHealthSci has my cohort been forgotten? We've been qualified over year and never had the opportunity to cross the stage and celebrate our success. I've heard we might get invited to graduate in 2022....why couldn't we have had a ceremony this year?
@BrianWebster18@dundeeuni@UoDHealthSci@ilrennie Mop up? We qualified before your cohort. We should have had a graduation ceremony this year sometime, its been possible for months. We've been skimmed over and saying 'mop up', is utterly a kick in the stomach.

@stitchinoz@UoDHealthSci@dundeeuni I heard rumours that the 2017 cohort will be invited to graduate in 2022 with the 2019 cohort. Not sure why we couldn't have had a graduation this year. Seems abit pointless doing it next year.
@pshepherdBU @StNurseProject No I don't. We are supposed to be person centered and I think that should extend to colleagues. We ars all human beings after all.
