#Nurse is a legally protected term as per Nurses & Midwives Act 2011. Therefore can not be used to describe a #midwife, which is an equally protected term. #TwoSeparateProfessions

The Government has approved a scheme to make tax-free payment of €100,000 to the estate of any healthcare worker who has died having contracted #COVID19 in the course of their work (RIP 22 to date).
The scheme includes GPs & others working in primary care, including admin staff
