Nillion is building Encrypted Markets.
Covenants are the primitive that makes them possible.
They let users seal an instruction to a condition, post it onchain encrypted and have it unlock only when the condition is met.
Today, we’re releasing the roadmap.
🧵👇
I can't keep my BTC on centralized exchanges because they might go bankrupt or freeze withdrawals.
I can't keep my BTC in hot software wallets because my laptop might get hacked.
I can't keep my BTC in cold hardware wallets because there could be a bug on the manufacturer's side that exposes my seed phrase.
I can't deploy my BTC in DeFi because there's like a new eight-figure hack every month.
So where am I supposed to keep my BTC?
Dear Crypto projects:
Please stop paying people (scammers) tens of thousands of dollars for discord security audits/server setup.
I've seen recent trends of teams burning upwards of $100k on this..
Audit+setup = a day's work.
Not pointing fingers, but some crypto projects seem to exist purely to announce plans, change those plans, and then announce new plans, without ever actually doing anything.
A small preview of what’s coming.
The best products don’t just get attention.
They become part of everyday life.
That’s what we’re building with Aimpire AI.
We’re getting close now. This is only the beginning.
Be early for what comes next.
@ChainNova_97 I witnessed their mods deleting entire message threads from users, who were just asking general questions and raising legitimate concerns about the project, and then banning those users. That to me erodes all trust, and makes me more sceptical.
Very skeptical.
- No third party audit links or testnet proofs have been shared.
- Endless pre-launch hype for over a year
- AI buzzword salad.
- 1.5million+ lines of code apparently, despite no git/source.
This article is bait.
Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche have also seen hundreds of projects die, merge or pivot since 2021, and in any open source ecosystem, especially one as permission-less as cosmos.. of course you are going to encounter a high failure rate. Its to be expected
1/ Introducing Oko: Keplr’s fully open-source embedded wallet stack.
Email and social-login onboarding, MPC-enhanced security, and a universal non-custodial wallet, all under Apache 2.0 from client to server, so apps take full-stack control while users keep full ownership.
@Justin_Bons @PopulistBlock A 51% attack on Bitcoin is economically irrational; the attacker devalues their own holdings and mining rewards alongside everyone else’s. It's a highly unlikely scenario with no favourable incentives.
If a chain wins, credit goes to them.
If a chain fails, blame lands on Cosmos.
How does that make sense? What model of thinking leads to that conclusion?
Reminder: Cosmos builds the toolbox for sovereign chains. You don’t blame the toolbox for what builders create!
