Another death by police shooting.
According to the family, 21 years old Eric Muiruri Njoki was shot by police on Sunday, 9th August around 9pm in Githurai.
The family says Eric was at his job as a bouncer at Airport Lodge in Githurai 44. Around 8pm, Eric had a misunderstanding with his manager and the manager called police to arrest Eric.
When the police arrived, the family claims that Eric knelt as a sign of surrender but he was still shot in the chest three times and died on the spot.
