|Conflict-Sensitive Workshop in Nairobi|
The #NCIC is currently conducting a Capacity Building Workshop for Security officers on hatespeech and ethnic contempt handling in Nairobi County.
In partnership with @KOICAKenya and @UNDPKenya, the training has brought together members of the National Police Service #NPS drawn from different jurisdictions. This forum aims to equip the police officers with skills for sensitive conflict handling to enhance their role in promoting peace and stability in Kenya as we gear towards the 2027 general elections.
The engagement is further enriched by representatives from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions @ODPP_KE, who are training on prosecution of hate speech cases. This underscores the vital collaboration between the commission, prosecution, and law enforcement in building a just and peaceful society.

As we await to receive Baba, we pray for a safe journey. In his passing, Baba unites us as Kenyans. A true leader has rested. Rest in peace, Baba.@MusaliaMudavadi
Arrived safely in India with the Kenyan delegation to facilitate the repatriation of the body of the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.
We have secured his body and preparations are complete for his return home. The aircraft carrying the body of this great son of Kenya is scheduled to land at JKIA at 9:30 am on Thursday, where he will be received by H.E. President William Ruto and the nation he so dearly loved.
May his journey home unite us in reflection, respect, and shared love for our country. 🇰🇪
Sending prayers and cheers for the Harambee Stars — may they shine bright and conquer the pitch in the upcoming game! The tiny striker in my heart is already lacing up, counting down the minutes to kick-off. ⚽✨🇰🇪
