I was in the store at the time and remember being evacuated. I thought I was around 3 years old (1989) but this tween would place me at approx 6 years old (1992). Putting it out there incase anybody else was in the store at that time or has any information about what happened.
When I was diagnosed with OCD, one of the first things my mind did, was to run through all the scary events in my life. The bomb scare in Macdonalds, Briggate, Leeds, is one of my earliest memories of being terrified. The only evidence of it, I can find online, is this tweet..
@Yoni_Live_Once@tuckwoodstock Hey, I was in the store when this happened. I was only a young child. I've been looking for newspaper stories about it (as I'm writing a book, in which I'd like to mention it). The only thing that came up in my google search was your tweet!

🧵(1/3) Last year, Henry, aged 9, started to struggle with symptoms of OCD. The world became an anxiety inducing place for him, robbing him of simple childhood pleasures like playing freely outside and hugging his siblings.
Great to hear such positive feedback about the @maternalocd 10 year anniversary guide - thank you for highlighting this resource to support those impacted by perinatal OCD #maternalocd https://t.co/xj8kN2GPEC https://t.co/6SkydFKosL
Know a child with OCD? Heard about a couple of amazing resources for OCD that I didn’t know about. Firstly, this website. https://t.co/WCfsMX46sX
Secondly this book https://t.co/Gj6NJSsjcO
The Glastonbury crowd filling in for Lewis Capaldi when he needed help was such a beautiful moment. Anyone saying “it was heartbreaking” or “he shouldn’t have gone on” is seriously missing the point. Disability is not a bad thing to be hidden. It exists alongside success and joy.
We’ve had great feedback from this, the first in a series of webinars by @ocdaction. Designed to help people learn the basics of OCD and to squash the myths, we hope it helps! ❤️
