Thanks to Jan Malles (PhD student @UniBremen) and @LizzUltee , my frontal ablation module is getting quite fancy (for a large scale glacier model 😉)!

Interestingly, including frontal ablation *reduces* glacier loss in projections due to better calibration of surface melt
