Fungo Labs is making me rethink what an NFT is supposed to be. 🟨

We’re so used to NFTs being completely exposed the moment they hit the chain.

Traits ? Public.
Metadata ? Public.
Everything ?

Open for anyone to inspect.

But what if an NFT didn’t have to reveal its secrets ?

That’s where Fungo gets really interesting.
Their NFTs are encrypted onchain, while the smart contract can still compute on that encrypted data without actually being able to read it.

Think about how crazy that is.

The blockchain can work with the information…
without knowing the information.
And then there’s the part I really love:
The creator doesn’t get to choose the outcome either.
The NFT’s look and essence are determined through FHE-based randomness.

No peeking.
No trait selection.
No “give me the rare one.”
No insider advantage.

Nobody knows what’s behind the seal.

Not the collector.
Not the creator.
Not the contract.
Until it’s time to reveal it.

You’re not just buying a JPEG.
You’re minting something that has a hidden state, can be processed onchain, and keeps its secrets while the blockchain still does its job.

This is the kind of NFT experimentation I actually want to see.

Not another collection with a fancy roadmap.

An NFT that can exist onchain without giving away everything that makes it interesting.

That’s a very different future for NFTs.

@cryptorover We need to use Cold Wallets for holding funds and Hot wallet for trading and other activities. This way we might mitigate the risk but will never be able eliminate it
