The overdose crisis is getting worse everyday. Today staff at the Moss Park Injection Site reversed 14 overdoses. We are seriously concerned with the increase in overdoses and deaths. Government inaction at all levels are to blame.
@danno78 and staff @Union_Chicken come thru for us again tonight. We delivered 90 servings of delish chicken and veggie stews to residents of encampments tonight
Today is Red Dress Day. It is a day when we honour missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls & gender diverse people. We remember & uplift them. We support their families. We recognize this disproportionate violence as a national tragedy. We advocate for change. #MMIWG2S
More wise words from Dr. Phil Berger: "Prescribing opioids for recovery site clients is a stabilizing, smart and practical public health measure which reduces the likelihood of COVID spread."

To keep encampment residents and surrounding communities safe and healthy, abide by the Right to Housing. That means no forced evictions, supports in encampments, and voluntary transitions if safe step to permanent housing.

Thank you @danno78 and staff @Union_Chicken for a making dinner for us this week. This week we surpassed 1000 hot meals delivered to the residents of encampments across the city.
Yesterday we delivered hot dinner #1000 to 5 encampments across the city. Thank to the many volunteers and the generosity of many more. We look forward to and will continue pressing for a day when this work is unnecessary-when everyone has safe and secure housing of their own.
On International Women’s Day we honour all of the Murdered and Missing Indigenous women and girls and ask @JustinTrudeau where is the federal action on the 2019 MMIWG report?
Week 14 of serving dinner to residents of encampments...thank you again @danno78 and staff @eatamano for providing another delicious and nutritious meal for residents of Moss Park, Allan Gardens, Trinity-Bellwoods, Alexandra Park and Cherry Beach. Big hearts at Amano’s!
Deeply disappointed that the Ontario legislature voted down the 'Housing is a Human Right Act'.
We need the Ontario gov't to step up & join the federal gov't & City of Toronto in taking concrete action to recognize & commit to the #Right2Housing.
