Elon revealed the extraordinary vision for Starlink

If growth continues, Starlink will one day carry the majority of Internet traffic

At that point, it is the Internet....everything else just connects to Starlink

Look at where we already are:
• 10,900+ Starlink satellites operational
• Launches basically every few days
• Starlink Mobile expanding country by country
• Emergency connectivity when terrestrial networks aren't available

Now comes V3
Starlink V2 �� ~96 Gbps downlink
Starlink V3 → 1 Tbps downlink

That is roughly a 10× jump in one generation

And Elon’s number after that isn't 15,000 satellites

It’s more than 100,000 V3/V4/V5 satellites for broadband and direct-to-phone connectivity

Those AI satellites don't just compute in orbit....they beam the results back through Starlink’s laser network

Just spoke with a friend in the UK Government about the 'fear' of AI. I tried to tell him that history is repeating itself. It’s all about the flow of information. The printing press triggered the religious reformation, the renaissance, the enlightenment and the industrial revolution. It also brought about great societal change and political and economic turmoil. Today we have the internet (printing press); a digital renaissance (near instant global flow of ideas) and now AI and robotics (industrial revolution 2.0). Britain either embraces or gets left behind. Europe has already been left behind. China is scrambling, but massively hindered by their growing lack of population and draconian rules on the flow of data. America is leading. India is a close second (don’t forget India! they create 20% of the world’s data every day!). The greatest thing any Government can do: be positive about change. Allow it to happen, and embrace the amazing future that is unfolding around us. This is every nation's opportunity to move ahead. The politicians have a responsibility to their citizens to be bold not fearful, as they have nothing to fear but fear itself. Truly. @alexwg @elonmusk @JeffBezos @Lonestar_Space

Computers have moved beyond the blue screen of death, but that doesn't make them perfect. We rely on infrastructure that is still in its infancy...back up your data AND your software! Maintain version control. IT is not an after thought. It's not geeks in the basement. It's your very lifeblood!

Did those who made the renaissance, the enlightenment, the industrial revolution stop to ask permission? We'd all still be living in caves with a life expectancy of less tha n30 years...
