Early voting allows them to see the tally ahead of time for candidates to adjust the algorithm. Vote changes also happen in the transfer of data between your precinct/county and the SOS office. Does your county use tabulators? You can check. I believe only 2 or 3 do not but data can still be changed in the transmission of data to the SOS office.
