We show that weak and unreliable stimulus encoding leads to tactile hyposensitivity in a mouse model of autism (1/6).

We reveal that perceptual alterations in Fmr1-/y mice are linked to weak and unreliable stimulus encoding in S1, which makes stimulus decoding vulnerable to the ongoing network state.
