Driven grouse shooting is about killing animals for fun, which personally I have never understood and it disgusts me. Plus the damage to ecosystems from the raising of grouse.
@WildJustice_org is right to oppose it.
Signed.
⚖️ A year ago today Green Party found guilty of unlawful discrimination against my gender critical protected belief. Later in year GP lost cost hearing too.
Unfortunately, fanatical officers haven't learned their lesson so Party looking at further claim for unlawful GC discrimination & victimisation.
The Party represents a live risk to child safety, women's protections & democratic politics itself. I cannot stand by & allow profoundly ignorant authoritarian fanatics to continue to betray every Green value. #AlivsGPEW
You lied and lied and lied and lied, @BorisJohnson, & no-one in in the NHS thinks you're anything other than a grasping, greedy, crooked, mendacious, narcissistic charlatan.
@BelissaCohen@Martina You'll vote Repug as they don't allow mediocre males into women's sports. They'll just control the right of women's bodily autonomy?
Dangerously irresponsible extremist @elonmusk is a lonely, toxic, ill-informed attention-seeking adolescent hypocrite, who has weaponised child abuse for personal gain, has zero concern for the child victims of abuse, and constantly amplifies the worst extremists in Britain.
@BladeoftheS@GreenJennyJones Farage did claim that he preferred the Commonwealth to the EU.
So more Commonwealth subjects have been coming over to the heart of the Empire since Brexit. Make room.
“@Keir_Starmer faces pressure to allow a free vote on the Climate and Nature Bill—a Private Member's Bill led by @DrRozSavageMP. The #CANBill proposes raising the UK’s emissions reduction targets, restoring nature and creating a citizens' assembly.” @edie https://t.co/Idy1HYv7J8
One of the reasons I am so cross about this article is how much the Guardian has handed to the hard Right by refusing to commission feminists to write about issues such as gender ideology, or the so-called 'grooming gangs'. In the early 200s, I pitched what would have been its very first piece on what was happening to vulnerable girls targeted by pimps in the north of England but was told that to run it would provoke 'Islamophobia' because some of the men involved were of Pakistani Muslim origin. Soon, the BNP found an opportunity to hijack the issue and from then were all over it. I published my piece in 2006 in the Sunday Times Magazine. The rest is history:

@sharrond62 As opposed to what the Tories have done in the last 14 years?
NHS had highest approval rating pre-2010. The Tories could have continued maintaining the infrastructure, instead of tax cuts for their cronies. Plus we are now £2,000 worse off since Brexit.
Prof Alexis Jay, chair of public inquiry into child sexual abuse, says further national inquiry into grooming gangs isn’t needed - and would delay action.
“The time has passed for more inquiries, we’ve had enough… We’ve set out the action required, and people should just get on with it, nationally and locally”.
She refuses to discuss Elon Musk but says she’s “very unhappy” about the way that “many people, sometimes in an uninformed way, have waded into the argument”.
She suggests focus on recent days is not on what matters - the victims themselves: “It risks distracting from the issues. I’ve heard very little… that have mentioned children and the appalling and lifelong effects that child sexual abuse can have.”
But she concedes that row may have pushed issue up agenda but “this is definitely not the way I would have chosen it to happen”.
Worth listening to full interview on @BBCr4today
What chutzpah! Farage has the gall to complain “We are getting poorer” without a scintilla of shame that Brexit has played a key role in our impoverishment @bbclaurak
