Good News: PISA Assessment Will Be Coming to the South East Soon
After I wrote about my desire for the South East to participate in the PISA assessment, I received a message from Raj.
He flew in from the United States, and we met in Toronto to discuss extensively how the assessment could be conducted across the region.
This assessment is very important to me because if the South East performs strongly on the global stage, it could significantly boost the region’s international reputation and help demonstrate the quality of talent we are developing. This could strengthen our case for attracting world-class companies such as Apple, Texas Instruments, NVIDIA, Tesla, and others to invest in the region.
We are deliberately nurturing a large pool of exceptional talent, and the world needs to see what is happening here.
In 10 years, our ambition is for the South East to become a major source of talent for the global workforce.
And we are very serious about it.

Today is your birthday, and we want to acknowledge this day beyond politics, public debates, courtrooms, movements and the many identities attached to your name.
Before all of that, you are a human being whose life began on a day like this. A son, a father, a brother, a husband, a friend, and a man whose journey has taken turns few could have imagined from the beginning.
Birthdays invite reflection. They remind us that behind every public figure is a private story marked by dreams and disappointments, convictions and mistakes, sacrifices and growth, laughter and pain, and the quiet passage of time.
On this birthday, we wish you strength of mind, clarity of thought, good health and the grace to meet life as it comes. We wish you genuine inner peace, for there are seasons when peace within becomes one of the most valuable things a person can protect.
May this new year bring deeper wisdom from all that has been travelled, learned, lost and preserved. And whatever history ultimately writes about this chapter, today belongs first to the simple recognition that another year of your life has arrived.
May the years ahead bring healing where healing is needed, reconciliation where reconciliation is possible, understanding where understanding is required, and the courage to face truth wherever truth presents itself.
For our son, for your family, for those who love you, and for all whose lives have become intertwined with yours, we wish you a birthday marked by life, reflection and hope.
May the God continue to teach, refine and preserve you.
Amen!
Happy Birthday to the Man in the Arena!
We love you!
From your wife and son!

@papazz12@winexviv Encourage your students to study in the Southeast if they want to be included. Don't get me wrong. This is not to say there are no good schools in Delta. But the initiative and funding is for Southeast residents and students in the region, regardless of their tribe.

@AyalaHenry88@winexviv Maybe not a very high population. But Imo state has always been one of the states with very high literacy rates both for males and females. An average person in Imo State has either a Secondary school education or an Undergraduate degree. Not including postgraduates.
@GlowofGodn@winexviv This is a physical/onsite exam for Southeast residents. It's not online. Your school should be in the Southeast and the candidate should be available to take the exam onsite at his or her registered centre. That's why it's called "Southeast Maths Olympiad".
@fumi443@winexviv There are people in your region that can volunteer and pull resources together to do this. The politicians don't care about growth and education. Igbos have always achieved more with collective agenda while completely ignoring their politicians. We don't expect much from them.
@winexviv Imo State, always showing up as expected. No wonder the literacy rate is high in the state. What is going on in Anambra state? The number is not encouraging. Why is the government not creating awareness for students to register? This Old Man wants to damage Anambra.
What General Philip Effiong said on this video is one of the reasons History was banned as a subject, because they will rather perpetuate the lie that the civil war was Igbo man’s war just to isolate the Igbo. But here, Effiong punctured that lie, and stated the gospel truth.
@AloyEjimakor Then it was just the Igbos and Nigeria did nothing. Today they have come for other Tribes in Nigeria and everyone is shouting because it has finally affected them. Even Hausa people and those in Gowon's state of plateau are also experiencing this.
@instablog9ja This is Pure, Undiluted, Unadulterated Olodo Uprising. A calcified Moron indeed. I am shaken to the bone marrow reading this from a self-acclaimed professor of economics. Nigeria is doomed as an entity.
@ndekekwe We're so proud of you. Congratulations on this excellent achievement. I'm placing an order right away. With this Imo State is gradually becoming the ICT hub of the East.
Prof. Ndụbụisi Ekekwe builds ContisX, a new smartphone designed for secure communication and digital finance.
Do you know that ContisX doesn’t use mobile data for all its apps? Zero internet! And its headquarters is in Imo State.
Prof. Ekekwe outdid himself on this one.
Pre-order yours!!!
Igbo people should advance. Igbo people should go into technology. Igbos have been doing so ooo!
Prof. Ekekwe is one of the many Igbo tech gurus and innovators making us proud.
I have been building things since my days at FUT Owerri, where we launched the university’s first campus FM radio station. In industry, I served as a global lead ASIC design engineer, helping to develop the inertial sensors used in the early versions of the iPhone. I also invented a wafer-level chip-scale packaging technology for inertial sensors. Till today, the US Government has continued to honour royalties for using my PhD research and the patent that came out of it. I am a Nigerian and I build things!
Good People, when we engineered a native blockchain for Contisx Securities Exchange, we saw an opportunity to extend that operating system into a new category of secure communication. Yes, blockchain-secured with absolute sovereignty. With ContiSX Phone, you get end-to-end secure communication, across messaging, voice and video , with no eavesdropping or tampering, guaranteed by cryptographic encryption.

It’s a matter of public record that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has fulfilled all legal requirements of his appeal by filing his brief of argument, motion for accelerated hearing, and a bail application before the Court of Appeal.
Yet, the government has so far failed to file its reply brief, and the court is yet to schedule a date to hear either the substantive appeal or the bail application.
This systematic delay is tantamount to injustice. Personal liberty is a fundamental right. When the main appeal is intentionally stalled by the prosecution's inaction, the bail application must be treated as high-priority.
To be sure, keeping Mazi Nnamdi Kanu incarcerated without hearing his bail application amounts to a violation of his right to be heard within a reasonable time.
The Court of Appeal is therefore strongly urged to act now! Hearing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s bail application has now become more urgent than ever.
@UgoUgochukwu2 Congratulations 🎉 👏 Ugo. You've done excellently well. More strength and more wins. We're so proud of you. Your next outing will be bigger and better. Jisi ike
@winexviv "Education of the Hand" as - Dr. Alvan Ikokwu would say, is equally very important. Education only is not the key to success. We also need to revisit and upgrade the Apprenticeship system to include business training or a form of part-time business school for the Apprentice.
